Chrome extension privacy

A narrow, read-only advertising report.

This disclosure explains the Sissel Ads Performance Chrome extension operated by Teklos AS. Effective 9 August 2026.

No contact or journey access

The extension credential can request only aggregate advertising performance. The extension API cannot return contacts, identifiers, journeys, event details, raw conversion records or integration credentials.

1. Where the extension runs

The extension runs only on declared Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager pages and on its own popup and settings pages. It does not request access to general web browsing, browser history, tabs outside those advertising managers, cookies, the clipboard, downloads, the microphone or the camera.

2. Data the extension accesses and sends

Advertising context
Advertising platform, advertising account ID, the current campaign, ad-group or ad view and the IDs of the rows currently loaded. Row names and the account timezone shown on the page are used only inside the browser and are not sent.
Report selection
Date range, attribution model and the metrics selected for display.
Sissel response
Aggregate spend, visitors, leads, funnel counts, sales, revenue, mapped cost, profit and derived efficiency metrics, plus coverage and provenance warnings.
Security data
A device-specific extension credential, its expiry and normal service security logs such as request time, source IP, response status and audit metadata.

Only the listed row IDs and the report selection are sent to Sissel. Other text or fields visible in an advertising manager table are not sent. Sissel does not send this information to Meta, Google or TikTok through the extension.

3. Storage and retention

  • The credential is stored only in Chrome extension-local storage on that browser profile and is not placed in synchronised storage.
  • Report responses are cached only in extension session memory for a short period and are cleared when Chrome or the extension session ends.
  • Display settings are stored locally until changed or the extension is removed.
  • Sissel keeps credential metadata and security/audit records under the service retention rules in the main privacy policy. Raw credentials are never recoverable from Sissel’s database.

4. Connection, rotation and revocation

An authenticated Sissel owner or admin must approve one workspace. The grant expires after 90 days unless replaced. The user can revoke the current browser from the extension popup; owners and admins can rotate or revoke extension credentials from Integrations in Sissel. Revocation does not affect public API or Zapier credentials.

5. Sharing, sale and advertising use

The extension sends report requests only to Sissel. We do not sell extension data, use it for interest-based advertising, use it for credit or lending decisions, or share it between Sissel customers. Infrastructure providers process limited data only to host, secure and operate Sissel under contractual safeguards.

6. Contact and the main privacy policy

Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@sissel.app. Rights, international transfers, processors and complaint routes are described in the Sissel privacy policy.
